I have used Gov Insights on a number of projects in my department. Firstly, Cam and the team assisted me in facilitating workshops on reviewing and enhancing a new system that streamlined our enrolment process and transitioned enrolments into an online environment. Cam facilitated a varying and diverse stakeholder group to develop significant recommendations and implement the system throughout the organisation.
Secondly, Cam was called in to conduct a development program for a new management team I had pulled together after a significant change management process within the department. He used the Core Strengths SDI 2.0 Assessment tool to gain insights into each individual and ran an engaging program setting the fundamentals of a high-performing management team. I am still reaping the benefits of this a year later.
Thirdly, Gov Insights conducted a workload assessment for a newly developed role within my department, which is integral to the organisation’s student enrolment. Gov Insights developed a detailed action plan, conducted extensive interviews, research and shadowed a number of team members to gain clarity on the assessment. They presented a detailed report founded on data and recommendations based on experience and research. The results have been instrumental in ensuring the position description is accurate, KPIs achievable and realistic, and a very happy team as a result.

Cam and Gov Insights helped me bring together our Community Relations Department in a more cohesive manner to tackle common issues that were fundamental to the organisation’s strategic direction. We had a relatively new team come into an established department, plus a lot of staff changes (right after the COVID years), so it was really about resetting a team culture and establishing ways of working and respecting each other. It’s still a work in progress but we constantly refresh the guiding facets that Cam established to ensure we continue with all the strategies he supported us to develop.
