Three Intriguing Facts:
I have a toddler son who is the light of my life, but who has a passion for running, roads and cars. Therefore, he also gives me daily heart attacks and keeps me on my toes!
I lived in Ireland for 11 years, including during the recession 2008-2011 making it hard to secure work. I ended up in a range of short-term positions including in a bakery, as an event security guard, a nightclub bouncer, in a jewellery shop, in a recruitment agency, and many bars and restaurants. I understand what it’s like to be at the coal face and work alongside different types of people.
I have done taekwondo for 15 years and represented Ireland internationally. Although I won medals at an international level, I have also fractured my jaw and been knocked unconscious so truly understand what it feels to be an underdog and to triumph over adversity.
